On plaque leaning on bumper :“1937 Chevy Master. X-drag car, then restored in 1971. 9 month build. All steel car.283-V8. 400 turbo tran. 1959 Olds rear end. Front end old school mix. Drum brakes. All wood in doors & body. Vintage a/c. Sun gages. Lacquered paint-cotillion. Original paint, pin stripes. Interior-root beer. Cadi steering column. Olds duelgate shifter. 3 owners since car was restored. P.S Car won best use of color in 1972 NSRA show in Michigan that year.”  15th Goodguys PPG NationalsColumbus, Ohio(7.7.11)
